1946– Mike’s Dad (Dan) and Uncle Louis start
convenience store and tank wagon.
1952– Dan and Louis purchase Trigg Bros.
Oliver dealership. Mike began working in the
summer selling soda pop and candy bars to
the kids from the public pool behind station.
1965– After serving in the Army, Mike
returns to Vahrenberg Bros., with wife Ruth
and starts as a mechanic for his Uncle and
1966– Dan Vahrenberg passes away.
1968– Louis retires and Mike and Ruth
purchase Louis’s part of the business. They
incorporate as Vahrenberg Implement, Inc.
1970– Add Minneapolis-Moline Tractors.
1972– Hesston haytools added.
1974– White Farm merges Oliver and MM,
introduced silver colored White Tractors.
1977– Lucille Vahrenberg, Mike’s Mon,
passes away. The other half of the business
1984– Doug begins work part time.
1988– Allied Products purchase White. New
Idea Haytool added.
1991– AGCO purchases White and Hesston.
1993– AGCO purchases White-New Idea.
Ruth selected to AGCO Parts Council.
1995– Mike elected to White National Dealer
1996– Awarded one of the top White volume
dealers in North America.
1997– Expand lot to south, plus purchased
car wash and house for future growth.
1999– Lot expands with new intersection.
Take on AGCO Allis and Gleaner. Expand
building with New Parts Department.
2000- Win AGCO Continuous Improvement
2001– AGCO merges Allis and White tractors
in AGCO Tractor. Awarded one of the top
volume AGCO dealers in North America. Win
AGCO Continuous Improvement Award
2002– Expand building with new parts
2003– Expand lot the south.
2004—Win AGCO Continuous Improvement
2005– Sell 200th New Idea Discmower.
2006- Win AGCO Continuous Improvement
2007- Add Massey Ferguson franchise. Win
Gold Level AGCO Continuous Improvement
2009– Break Record for Most Tractors Ever
Sold in a Year.
